The Sponsoring Organizations/PartnersThe Plains Academy Co-op is a partnership between a Regents institution and several Western Kansas Community Colleges. Preparing Tomorrow’s Teachers with Technology (PT3) is a partnership including educators ranging from K-12 through four-year institutions. Educating Kansas (EduKan) is an affiliation of community colleges that have created an on-line interinstitutional series of degree programs. The Western Kansas Community Services Consortium (WKCSC) works to provide cooperative community service to western Kansas. Colleague-to-Colleague (C2C) is a grass-roots association of teachers, librarians and technologists involving many of the higher education institutions in the State. The Information Technology Assistance Center (iTAC) is the user interface between faculty, students and the IT infrastructure at Kansas State University. The Division of Continuing Education (DCE) at K-State, along with the Kansas Regents Educational Communications Center (ECC) and the iTAC Center are the on-site hosts for the conference. Each of the sponsoring organizations has at its heart the development and improvement of learning environments for teachers and learners, through professional development, workshops, discussions, and informal networking.
